Dear Nadia Al-Sakkaf, I am extremely interested in your comment in a 4 February 2012 View Point article: "I just discovered that there was no Bilqis Queen of Sheba." I have been writing a novel called The Translator for the past six years, and the account of Bilqis and Prophet Suleiman in Surah 27 is very important to this story. I live in California and visited Yemen in 2002--before beginning this particular novel. I ended up in Jiblah at one point and saw the castle or palace that was supposedly, I believe, the place in which Bilqis lived those, what?, three thousand years back. And yet I am confused as to whether this palace was the one belonging to the original Bilqis or a later Bilqis. So, as I've been searching online, now I come across your very startling statement that there was no Queen of Sheba. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about this. I am sure that you have much more important things to occupy you. (I just watched the TED video of you: "See Yemen through my eyes," and was very glad to hear what you had to say.) Thank you for reading this. Rofiah Breen

Dear Nadia al-Sakkaf First of all, let me introduce myself. I'm a psychologist,an ex-Total Quality Management consultant and since 1998 I developed a strong interest in the Gulf Countries, Egypt and Yemen. I must confess, my main focus has been Saudi Arabia, I've been on dayly basis in touch with Yemen. I'm aware of the problems Yemen is facing, especially during the Arab Spring: political, socioeconomical, enviromental and above all security. All iemen journalists are providing me with information, because I'm wrtting an article about Yemen. I would be delighted if you allow me stay in touch with you, so to hear and follow the improvements, the challenges. You already have my email. If you agree I would like to have yours. I want also to compliment for your analysis. I'm looking forward to hear form you. Kisses ( this is the brazilian way) Ada Braga
