Attali'ah Beats Ahli Sana'a 2/1 For the first time since the 80s, Attali'ah of Taiz eased confidently into the premier league finals. In its match with Ahli Sana'a last Friday in Taiz Attali'ah was able to benefit from home advantage and win 2/1. Attali'ah opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Watheq Abdul Rahman received a ball from Essam Abdul Ghani to administer the first beating to Ahli. After several attempts by both teams Adel Assalimi brought Ahli level in the 40th minute. In the second half several goal opportunities for Attali'ah went begging. However, in the 79th minute Essam Abdul Ghani was able to break through and administer the second and last beating to Ahli in the match. Elated by the achievement of Attali'ah, governor of Taiz denoted YRs 200 thousand for each goal. Moreover, he allocated YRs 400 thousand for each beating to Ahli in the return match on May 12 in Sana'a.
